General Objectives

   Participants explore and investigate technology applications to the writing process in all curriculum areas. Students plan and conduct writing activities involving technology including the use of performance assessment criteria for monitoring the instructional effectiveness of writing programs for improving student achievement. Based in online research and field areas.

 

Description

Students will bring together ideas about curriculum theory, stimulating theory – building activity by integration of Internet technology. Instructors will learn to implement technology in their classes and acquire the necessary pedagogical principles for using technology in classroom, while providing them with activities that can be implemented immediately or used as practical guides and frameworks with which to create their own lessons. Teaching through Internet will integrate the listening, speaking, reading, writing and cultural skills necessary to achieve competence in the classroom.

 

Methodology

Course has semi presential modality, with online lectures analyzing theoretical concepts and practical situations related with structuring curricula. Presential laboratories oriented to on line research will be programmed to create a final inform and periodical reports related with design of a course proposed by individual students in which curricular structure is main goal to cover. This experience constitutes preliminary basis to graduating thesis.
